an elderly lady that had apparently died two weeks before she started.
She quit her job the same day and never returned.

A young boy on his third day into a summer milk round job sees a young
girl skipping in her garden at 5.00am on a misty morningwhile placing
bottles on a door step. Upon retuning to the milk cart he comments to
his employer that kids get up early round there.
The was then asked in which garden he saw the girl and when he pointed
to the housethe girl had vanished. However, the milkmans face went white
and went on to tell the boy that a young girl from that house had been
run over by a speeding car only the week before.
